Yeah, I was thinking that earlier, some groups only become famous because so many people find them on MySpace or somewhere like that but its up to the artists to make their tracks available legally on their sites, if they want that exposure... What annoys me, on a slightly different note, is with DVDs... when you actually pay full price and buy the proper, legal DVD and I don't know about in the US but certainly here, we get this stupid...

If your music is good enough you will sell albums and singles regardless of how many people download your music. Those who don't end up paying for the music wouldn't have gone out and bought the album anyway, had there not been any file sharing. Most people who download [illegally] do it as a "preview...

Haven't they learned yet that criminalizing the listeners wont work. I dont download illegally but I hate when richies complain about illegal downloading.
