Jamo Speakers | Thread profile

I've never listened to them and don't recall a lot of talk about them a few years back when researching speakers. I think Klipsch may have bought Jamo, but don't qoute me on that. What model were you looking at anyway? Certainly not their $14000 top of line ones.... Anyway, here's a review of the 803's.

Quality for my money really. I can get the Jamo at 40% so if I pay a similar amount as the other centers I have been looking at, but be able to take a step up in quality, I will do that.

I auditioned a pair, before I bought my Paradigm Monitor 7s, two years ago. I don't have a particularly "well developed" ear, and I had to trek 20 minutes between stores (and generally on different nights), it was hard to pinpoint the differences in sound. I wish I could remember the model, but the store owner was offering the floor models to me for around $450 for the pair. Given the price, I was fairly impressed and...
