This driver is used for the on board sound in a Dell 3100. It keeps "not starting" properly and thus we get no sound. Its entry in the hardware list has a question mark when this happens. However if we unistall and then add new hardware the driver is automatically found and installed - until the next time. This has been going on for some months. Any ideas gratefully received.
