I completely agree with the view. I think it could be a great device. Why Isn't There a Sirius iPod? http://tinyurl.com/6hjpgr What could possibly be better? Satellite radio for variety with programmed channels, combined with the best portable digital music/media player available. So why has this not happened yet? Good question. But the marriage of these two devices is compelling...

Well I agree with the view that it would make an iPod better (at least wrt my gadget desires) BUT Sirius already has an LCD screened portable radio/radio recorder/MP3 player on the market that has Sat or WiFi service connectivity (Stiletto 2) and can record radio content i.e. 10 hours worth of individual songs ...

Why bother? The newest iPod Touch and iPhone products have streaming radio capability via Pandora, AOL Radio and perhaps one or two other applications. Adding satellite capabilities would seem almost redundant to me.

Here's another reason I don't think we'll see an integrated iPod/Sirius device: There are a total of about 20M subscribers of Sirius and XM combined (as of a report from last month).
