I have a 4 or 5 year old Kodak Easy Share camera model 7330. It has settings for video, automatic, night, close up, action, and distance. When I turn the dial to "video" and "close up" it says "auto" on the screen. It won't let me take a video even if I try, it just clicks a picture off. Everything else works as it should. A few years ago I dropped the camera in the pool, and it did a few weird...

According to the Kodak website, following their "guided troubleshooting"... if the camera does not record a picture and/or video, and if the camera was exposed to liquids, the warranty is null and void(duh), and must be sent in to be repaired at owners expense. No other info was offered. Looks like it's time for a new camera Mike.

Thats what I was thinking. I'm gonna go by walmart tonight and get one. Thats gonna suck because I'll have to break my 7 month not-going-to-walmart streak.

My roommate had an Easy Share similar to that.. his was 7.0 mp though I think. Looked exactly the same. His stopped working a couple weeks after he bought it.. I've heard other bad things about their reliability too. However, I googled it to check it out and I see that the video mode only supports 320 x 240 at 15 fps. It's going to be really blurry and really choppy. If you want to take ...

Ok well I just bought a new camera. I got one of those nice ones with the big lens. 10Mp and 12 times zoom. Its a night and day difference compared to my old crappy one as far as clarity goes. One thing that was a surprise, I seem to remember paying like $100 or $150 just for the memory card for my old camera. Now a memory card with twice the room was $27

My 'rents got a Kodak too. It's a piece of shit. It's an 8MP CoolPix 8700. Every time the battery goes below half-charge, it takes at least five seconds after you've taken a picture to be ready to take another. The display goes blank in between and acts like it's dead, then BAM! comes alive again. They were told that was normal. Seriously, WTF? Oh, and the AutoZoom sucks dead rotting ...

Its a Kodak. It was easier to work then all the others at the store, plus my old Kodak took a lot of abuse. Sure its ****ed up now, but I'm still impressed with how many times its been dropped, including in the pool and sinking to the bottom, and it still worked.
