i've been playing my D60 just plugged straight into the front, but tonight i brought my Bodenhamer-modded DOD YJM308 to band practice and played with the amp boosted...sounded pretty sweet. any idea if the Sig:X's 3rd channel (unboosted) can sound like the Deliverance with a boost in front?

It's unfortunate that I don't have a boost pedal and I have both SigX and Deliverance at the moment. That being said, the SigX has more saturation than the Deliverance. This is a "fool around" clip of the lead channel with a Les Paul. http://www.mp3lizard.com/download.cfm?id=25839

Channel 2 of Sig-X reminds me of the Deliverance gain/tone/feel. The power section of the Deliverance can get a little more nasty. But there is only one voice. The Sig-X sounded good with a Boost to my ears.

There is more gain and saturation. I guess it would depend on the boost and the tone you want.
