Another show where the determination to enjoy some splendid aviation overcame the awful weather. You've got to hand it to the engineers, groundcrew, pilots and volunteers, despite getting blasted with wind and rain they put on a cracking show. It would have been nice to show our guests from the Memorial Flight and Le Bourget some better weather but I'm sure they enjoyed themselves and left...

Excellent pics Robbo - hoping to come down on August 16th for the evening display. What is the story behind the 'Crewmobile'? and what is it? – that is a Grimsby registration. Dean.

Dean, it's a Jim-mobile. It was built from a Reliant Regal chassis many many moons ago by one of the Collection's volunteers who lives up in the Wakefield area and he used to communte to the Collection on it, nowadays it lives at the Collection. It's been at the Collection for as long as I can remember.
