I want to response to a moderation on one of my messages, but while I'm at it, I've been moderated twice for suggesting or begging for illegal video's or something like that. One time was completely right, but then I didn't knew it was wrong here. The second time it was more of then just a suggestion, it was also a comment to an normal message. So why won't the part where ...

I think the staff and mods are busy enough without having to go through a post and pick out the parts which are acceptable and just delete the prohibited stuff. If you post something in breach of the ToS you have to accept that the whole post will be deleted if it is reported, you're more likely to make sure you don't repeat the ToS violation.

You can recover your original post from your moderation history if you wish. Short of going in and editing users' posts, there is no way to partially delete a message. Most users have indicated they don't want us replacing their words with ours.
