My electrical guy did a quick fix on the EDIC relay, so now I can turn my truck off w/o lifting the hood. However, it's only temporary, so I need to replace the relay. I've got an inquiry into Roodogs about a new one. But here are my questions: A. Any trick to replacing this thing? It looks pretty dang simple, but then again, I can complicate most situations pretty quickly. B. Can I...

Where are ya in Wa? Just moved back to San Diego from Normandy Park (near SeaTac airport) this last Summer..Miss the green...,the rain..not so much !!! Alot of people go to a manual operation, once the origional is INOP. Do a search, you'll find alot of info Chris

post an ad in the classifieds in MUD. The diesel classifieds. A 12 volt BJ60 edic relay may also work. They are held on with a couple screws and have a plastic connector. Very easy to change.

The relay is simple to replace, just plugs in. Couple bolts hold it position and has a plug on it. There are I believe two versions or should I say the same relay but with different plugs on the end. Post a picture so we know which one. They are $10-$40 from a 4x4 wrecker and very comon here. Send Roodogs a photo so he know which one. I buy a lot of stuff from him. Toyota still sell ...
