I put my Prado on gas about three months ago, they take out the main tank and replace it with a 60L tank using the original gauges. Be carefull how low the tank is if you do serious 4w driving it can affect the depature angle. Getting about 18L per 100km on gas and about 15L per 100km on petrol. The only problem is that you only get about 300km to the tank, still pulls my 4.75 ali boat no ...

Jerome, Had mine converted about 18 months ago. Agree with everything that Brian has said including the consumption rates. Best advantage is the $ savings.... Mine pulls an 18ft (5.5 mtr) Swiftcraft Half Cabin no worries and being an older hull is quite heavy. One thing I'd recommend is make sure you get the gas system tuned every 10 to 20 thousand K's as they are prone to going out of tune ...
