Lug nuts; different years, different type?? My dealer said if I de-PAX'ed my Ody, I woul need new lug nuts too because they went from a cone type in '05 to something else in '06+. Is this true? He was happy to sell me new ones for $15/ea!

Hmmm....I just had to buy one lug nut for my wife's '05 Pilot and the price was less than $6.00 (tax included) at the dealer.

i believe there were new lugnuts for the 08' MY, You can see in the 18' MDX rim upgrade thread were they talked about the different lug nuts.

Your stealer is a crook. But the lugs have indeed changed. More than a couple of folks have run into this issue which you can read up on one of the billions of De-PAX threads we have on here. It baffles my mind as to the number of threads that get posted for De-PAXing. We have moved from PAX bashing and backing (basically fighting) to now more than a couple of threads a week of De-PAXing...

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on de-PAXing. Just waiting to hear back from Michelin about my premature tire wear complaint.
