I can not edit my post anymore, but I've figured out something. Firefox has no window.event object. I've read that it has event instead, but it doesn't work either. I've tried a lot. I'm calling this function from another function(class, object or whatever you call it) and It has only a few functions set to onclick but I set them inside the object, so I have no idea how to set an argument event or evt or whatever it...

Is this Visual Basic .NET or VB6? My reason for asking is if you want to build anything that might grow further I would suggest switching your development to either C#, C or C++. You wont attract many developers with the Visual Basic language, it's not really a good language.

Hi Thanks a ton for your reply. In your code, I do not see how will it change the content of the site to other language (say french). Only it does is include the constant to the page. Pls elaborate. Thanks again

Now what!?

@Umang Thanks man, yea, I actually found that download shortly after I posted. @callumjones I believe python 2.6.4 is already installed but I wanted to start off with 3.x... maybe that's foolish? Over and above the IDLE interpreter that comes with 3.1.1 found at Umang's link, is there a way to configure either Netbeans EA or Eclipse with PyDev for 3.x?

Who knew?
Published (2009-12-06 19:57:00)
So many many moons ago, a member here, Calamitie developed an application for the iPhone. I knew that it was partly successful, but never really followed up. While stumbling around, I came across BBC - dot.life: The App Economy Who knew that he was one of the top developers in the UK thanks to that app, at only 59P per buy! Jeese, strange world. Originally a Young Coder, now a partly successful coder, too. See what your dreams can amount to?!

Hi Just_Gabe,
Welcome to the forums!
Although I know very little about coding games, I think you should know a little more about some of the languages you mentioned.
Javascript, MySQL and PHP are three very different languages that perform three very different tasks and aren't alternatives to one another.
Javascript is a client-side script. It sits in your website/webpage and is read ...

What is your online business about? What do you want on your website?
It is not possible to say whether you will need PHP in making your website without knowing.

I'm not sure if it's the best way, but if you're using PHP then you can take a look at define:
Code:
<?php
define( 'HOME', 'Home' );
define( 'PRODUCTS', 'Products' );
define( 'COPYRIGHTS', 'Copyrighted by God 1814-2010' );
?>
I think it's a nice way to define all language specific stuff, isn't it? If you want to translate you're website to another language, all you have to do is to...
