Already available pages can only be added one-by-one. To automatically add changed pages in future, you can use the appropriate bookmark action: Bookmark properties + Actions + Local Website Archive

I need to use Filter Assistant to set a filter to monitor only select parts of the web page. I tried setting "check-by-screenshot" but found that I got the message "whole page filtered" when doing that. Can I still use filters when setting "check-by-screenshot"?

how to ignore sidebars
Published (2009-11-17 16:48:00)
Thanks very much - that's very helpful. http://english.caijing.com.cn/2009-11-10/110308459.html Would it be possible to filter [ignore] from this page all of the text in the right-hand-side boxes? So all the text from 'Related Articles' to [and including] the story about the IEA -- bearing in mind that although the text at the top ['Related Articles'] probably won't change on this form, I want to set up a filter...

I am trying to uninstall 4.42 using C:\Program Files\Website-Watcher\Unins000.exe /SILENT I am still being prompted as to how I want to handle bookmarks. Are there any other options to the uninstall command or any other way to accomplish the uninstall without user intervention? Thanks

support multiple proxy ?
Published (2009-11-17 18:31:00)
is this something possible or planned ? Ideally, it could be defined globally or per url/folder, something like FoxyProxy Firefox extension [1] when you use wsw on a laptop from different location, it is easier to have a single switch to handle. And sometimes, the company proxy is too restrictive so you are force to used some separate one for untrusted url. thanks. [1] https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2464

create subfolder
Published (2009-11-24 02:48:00)
Is there a way to create a subfolder using scripting such that it stands alone in the script. I am automating bookmark creation and want files to be in separate bookmark subfolders of subfolders and can't figure out how to create just a subfolder of a folder with a script as a standalone script. Thanks.

I just purchased Local Website Archive pro (3.1.1), and I have about 200 web pages bookmarked in WSW that I would like to add to it. Is there a way to add them all at once with a global function, or must I add each one individually to LWA? Thanks.

It's not possible with an explicit command. But if you use the ImportBookmarks command to create/insert bookmarks, then the parameter /targetfolder="..." automatically creates the specified folder if it doesn't already exist. And this can be used for a work around 1. Create an empty text file, eg. c:\files\empty.txt 2. Use the following command to import bookmarks ...

In WebSite-Watcher: 1. Open bookmark properties ("General" tab) 2. Click the small button on the left side of "Character set" 3. Select the codepage you want to use for that bookmark 4. Re-check the bookmark This works well for the two bookmarks you provided. _________________ Martin Aignesberger [SUPPORT]

Maintenance and bugfix release available for download We're pleased to announce the availability of WebSite-Watcher 5.1.5. WebSite-Watcher 5.1.5 is a bugfix and maintenance release. If you already use version 5.1.x then it's recommended to update to version 5.1.5. Installing this new version requires an active Update Subscription. If your license was good for version 5.1.0,...

An internal solution is not planned because you would also have to change the IE proxy settings to get everything working incl the internal browser. I would recommend to use a third party Internet Explorer proxy switcher tool and use "Use Internet Explorer proxy settings" in the WSW proxy configuration. _________________ Martin Aignesberger [SUPPORT]
