My daughter and her boyfriend want to a have a spiritual uniting ceremony... that will be legally binding. How is this different from marriage? How would one go about finding an officiate? How can I find out which states recognize this as a binding marriage? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

OK, so I thought I'd start a fun thread... What is your calling and do you love it or hate it? :) There is a girl in my ward that has been in nursery for 4 years!! Needless to say, she is ready for a new calling. I'm on the compassionate service committee. We have a VERY needy ward (lots of babies being born, lots of new people moving in). It's really fun, I ...

Just a quick note to say that I could use some input. I'm feeling defeated and could use some input and encouragement. I haven't filled out rate your plate for a few days but I am still keeping my food journal. Just not getting around to post a lot. Hope everyone is doing well.

I looked at all subjects before deciding to go ahead and post in this one...lol If better as OT in another folder am sure a mod will move it. A friend, Shelley, posted this in another forum and I find the news shocking, to say the least. I have known, for years, that when they first have cells to study that are considered appropriate, they keep growing them and sending them ...

Hi, I am a single mom working from home in Texas. I have 2 daughters, grade 8 and 9. Could someone please help me get moved in the right direction in order to home school the girls. I was told that I have to purchase everything. I also was told by some schools that the tuition for their program is as much as $7000. How can I cut cost without jeopardizing ...

My son's sophomore high school team is still undefeated 5-0!!! We're having a great season! DS plays defense as strong safety and what can I say.... that boy can HIT! I'm having so much fun! Did you know he's been playing since he was 6 years old? I'm a Mom and just wanted to kiss boo boo's, I didn't encourage him to play at all but he really loves it! So, he went ...

I know that different people have different preferences but, in general, which do you think would be a bigger seller?

Oh my.... I am listening right now and this is the John McCain I have been waiting to see! He is tearing into Obama like I have never seen. Tomorrow night's debate is going to be very interesting.

Im curious to know how important it is to you that a company shows its massive success to the world by having HUGE multi million dollar offices? There are both pros and cons to this. Im not against companies that flaunt their success. As a matter of fact I find it kind of intriguing and it shows the world they "got it together" and are strong and stable....

Of course I am referring to last night's debate between Biden and Palin. It is no secret that she is inexperienced in some areas and she is the first to admit it. However, she is a real person who cares about real people. Sen. Biden is a real politician who will say what you think you need to hear and last night he did a stellar job. He even came across as sort of "nice" ...

I have some pet fish, that I have had for a about 1 year. These guys are very relaxing to watch and seem pretty grateful. Every time I get near the tank they go crazy. Ever since I've had them, they might of help me relieve my stress just by watching them, swimming freely, not having to worry about a thing. Currently my stress levels are almost none existent, ever since I ...

O.J. Simpson is not the real subject here in this post, but I will make a comment. What in the world is a 60 yr. old man pulling a stunt like that? Has the man flown off the rocker? The real subject is about money, how in the world can they convict a guy and ignore the tactics that was happening behind this case. By know means do I care about O.J., but this hole event was ...
