QUOTE (papaduc @ Nov 27 2009, 01:37 PM) Hows it going bud. Nice hearing from you man. Will deffo have a full read through your diary. I've already had a peep and it looks really good. So do you think you can notice a difference in the smell? It might sound like a mad question to ask, but I'm only asking because I read a post from someone just the other day who said he grew a strain that didn't smell much in...

If people are having cold temp probs.another way of making it easier is to have the lights on at night when it's colder so the lights do 2 jobs heat the room and grow the plants.that's what I do lights on at night in the winter.

Growroom Costs
Published (2009-11-27 15:15:00)
All the cheaper at night tariffs I've seen are never for a full 12 hours and they get their money back in spades by jacking the daytime prices. The one I'm with now is 12p per kW/hr 24/7. My grow is designed to be easy rather than efficient so about a fiver a week is spent just on running a larger veg space than I need. It breaks down to £20 a week leccy, £3 a week nutes (drain to waste) and £7 a week for a feminised seed...

QUOTE (nwestray @ Nov 28 2009, 09:20 AM) thanks for the replies peeps, much appreciated. right, its not for my 250w light, its my new room and has a 600w, i guess the best thing i can do is to fire everything up and keep an eye on the temps over a few days whilst reducing the fans. i dont realy need to go down to 50% but obviously that would make it a lot quieter. In that case...

it is true, they are awesome best i've had is 7oz dry from a single ak47 in a group of four under a 600w sodium you won't have to worry about the noise, normally its the air pump that makes the most noise but you can sort that out if its a problem by suspending it with bungees, or using your anti vibration mat! if socket numbers are a problem then get one big pump that you can run ...

canna coco, whilst rooting out i may only water once every couple of days, when they've fully rooted the pot out and are in flower then 1 to 3 times a day. Under 600w hps. It will depend on how big your plants are and how hot your room is too. You can grow some hefty plants in 6.5l of coco, alot bigger than the same amount of compost.

soooo many seedbanks out there... you should be really safe with: paradise seeds, female seeds, white label, sweet seeds, but most of the fem. seedbanks offered by (attitude) are usually "safe". Some STRAINS tend to be more subtle then others. I had one of my 3 pakistan valley hermie on me from world of seeds. It really depends on what you want to grow (high-taste-time-space-yield). ...
