No matter what the agent tells you, most insurance policies will not cover theft of or from an unlocked car. They will cover damage from breaking into a locked vehicle.

Each rental company has their own views on this subject... best to ask when you rent what they want you to do... some say locked, some say unlocked... Personally, I would think unlocked, with nothing in the car... that way they don't have to break anything to get inside and see there is nothing there...

Pretty much all of them want 3 night minimum in a reservation that time of year. Check with them when you get on island for availability for 1 night, usually not a problem, but call day before.

I won a free rental from them through E. Krantz's contest a couple of years ago. They were very nice to deal with.

A couple of years ago, I was told that there was no dry ice available anyplace in the BVI. Hearsay, but, if it was unavailable then, maybe it's available now?

Moomba Beach is the place for you. http://moombabeach.com/component/ It's an all day place really. We had lunch there and they rent beach chairs. We also had dinner then stayed later. It got very crowded the night we went with a live DJ. Lot's of dancing. Sometimes they also have live bands. http://travel.nytimes.com/travel/guides/...ife-det ail.html

it's probably safer going that direction from boo boo jams because it's relatively close. i usually carry a flashlight and stay close to the water when walking down that stretch at night.

Hi The first is just a very restful picture. There colors weren't "pnotoshopped" in. The second is a beautiful sunset at Cane Garden Bay that we use on our desktop to help with the DIFF. The third is a magical sunset taken from Guavaberry over The Baths. My hubby is the best insect repellent I have! They like him so much better. What worked for him in the jungles of Belize was white mountain insect repellent. You could actually see the skeeters turning away. All natural, no DEET. We use it on the grandkids. http://www.whitemountaininsectrepellent.com/ Also, baby oil is supposed to repel sand fleas and no-see-ums....too slippery for...

Something between those 2 sizes would be good. I would like to see an applique SEWN flag much as Walker has done with the BVI Pirate Flags, they are very high quality and will hold up much longer, very nicely made and still affordable. http://shop.bvipirate.com/bvi-pirate-burgee.html Any thoughts of "freshening" the design and logo??? We have some darn graphics type folks around ...

Certainly Orient Beach; watching the planes come and go in the afternoon from The Boat Bar or Sunset; watching the sunset from some vantage point with an undisturbed horizon a glassy meal at a restaurant where you are looking over the water; happy hour at Spinnakers when there is megayacht traffic.

I'm a huge backer of "Three Palms" from Barbados. It is available in the states, but hard to find, and a bargain. If you can find it, you'll love it.

Ok mine isn't as "artsy" but it is one of my favorites....it was taken with a cheapo Nikon film camera pre-digital, then scanned by the processor, remember when they did that?
