Just curious.....Has any SBCer gotten the SBC Tenants Assn letter to nominate or be a candidate for a position on the board? As usual it arrived after the filing date. This is so typical of Sapphire and Bill Olliver (Pres). -------------------- -Gloria "A good friend will bail you out of jail, but a 'true' friend will be sitting next to you saying...'damn that was fun'!"...

I'm wheels up 9.4 (back on 9.11) and as I always do just prior to my BVI trips I obsess over the weather reports. There certainly are plenty of waves/lows in the Atlantic ( http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo_atl.shtml ) right now. So far at least, none of these immediately threaten the virgins. I'm interested in hearing the perspectives of those of you who have sailed the BVI's in peak ...

The southern end of San Onofre beach, on the north side of Camp Penleton Marine Base near Oceanside in southern California, and south of the nuclear power plant, has been a clothing optional beach for decades, if not generations. It was shared peaceably by surfers and nudists, but that may not last. There have been the inevitable complaints about real or imagined "inappropriate ...

Just wondering if anyone knew the Catholic mass schedule. I'm pretty sure that there is a church in Philipsburg. Thanks

We were there Friday the 22 for soft opening of the new sunsetbeach bar and grill. Yes that is the new name. We did not find it inviting at all. The music was very loud and thumping. It was full of locals and we felt very out of place. Not much has changed except for the interior decor. They took down all the stuff that tacked on the walls and it seem very sterile. TV's are gone ...

We had planned to do a FL vacation but I started playing around with sxm airfare. I found $366 roundtrip - chicago Midway to sxm on Nov. 29!! We're booked. We went to St. Martin for the first time two years ago so this is the 2nd trip. I'll have to tune to TTOL to learn of new ideas and suggestions.

We are booked on american airlines leaving 11/5...friends are joining us on the 8th. They have now received their 3rd notice for a change in their flight times. They are now not arriving in SXM until 9:15 PM. When they booked they booked based on date, departure time, arrival time and price. Had they realized this is what american was going to do they could have paid a little more and ...

I know they aren't published yet, but does anyone know if Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25 are the likely dates for the '09 CGB festival? Has anyone here stayed in CGB during the festival? Since we are going aboard a boat on Monday evening and need to stay somewhere on Tortola for Saturday and Sunday nights, it seems that being right there might be less hassle than either a taxi ...

Will be taking a daytrip to VG..don't know much about it besides the Baths being a must see.. **What else is not to be missed on a day trip**** (nothing like a spa, etc..just sights to see, restaurants, etc) and **Will there be taxis avail to take us around the island?*** (Do we need a taxi to get from the ferry to the Baths and how much does that usually cost?) Thanks in advance for ...
