Look again... at a Pioneer or Plextor with lightscribe... or even a Samsung, LiteOn, or LG. Perhaps you were looking at an HL, HLDS, Sony, Sony-Nec, HP, Acer, Asus, or other Then tell us whether you are talking about writing or reading, as the speeds are different, depending on what application they are asked to perform.

The memory you linked to is DDR 3 1333. It'll work fine with your board but IMO it's overpriced. Go with this kit instead. For a CPU cooler you could look at the OCZ Vendetta 2 which I'm incidentally using with the identical motherboard and processor. Also you could check out the Xigmatek HDT S1283. Just ensure that the case is wide enough to accommodate the cooler. I have it inside the Coolermaster CM 690. Also, the OCZ...

Yes you will need to upgrade your power supply. Now frankly, you won't really be running GTA4 too well on a $120 budget, while the 4850 is strong enough, you have to throw in a power supply into your budget too. Just as a side note, your processor is decent, I think it could be worth investing about $180 for a CORSAIR CMPSU-450VX 450W ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with ...

Generally instead of getting the specs right with Ram You are best to download your guide on specifically which ram is suited to your computer or motherboard Although all specs may be the same, I would advise against having two different manufacturers of Ram cards installed (for non compatibility reasons) Why again, can't you order online? You are online at the moment?

be careful trying to upgrade your slimline PSU, they have a proprietary size and regular PSU's wont fit in them. I am surprised that the card worked at all, but power supplies are funny things, when you put more demand on them then they are rated for they will work extremely hard to provide the voltage/amps that are trying to be pulled from them, and that creates an enormous amount of heat and ...

We can download the game just fine. The problem is the game crashes as soon as we try to enter the sewers. We had this problem with a different edition and so we bought the game of the year edition and have patched it thinking this might help but it hasn't. We are running on vista with a dual core intel processor.
