I would recommend another gun such as a CZ75B The grip is extremely important part of the comfort and use of a pistol. I have both the CZ75 and the Sig 226. They are both excellent guns But, my hands are a bit bigger, so the Sig fits better in my hand

Coyotes aren't big. You won't likely have to shoot more than one of them before they scatter, and they are hard to hit as they are small and really quick. I'd say G17 or G19 with a gold dot JHP. I think it would be pretty hard to hit the buggers with a handgun when they were all wound up. If i didn't need CCW, i'd say a 12ga.
