Hi guys, I thought I'd start a new thread for anyone that wants to discuss the changes made to Sly Italia in the past few weeks. Please keep it factual so it can be used in the future, no point posting useless speculation. It seems there's a CAM Emu called OSCAM that's in development at the moment, it's publicly available for all. I have done no research with it myself but can vouch for its validity first hand. Old, abandoned dish.

Yes, one of the problems is that all them holes will let the microwaves through. The wavelength of ku band freqs is about 3cm, any holes larger than about 1/10 of that and the dish won't reflect, C band being of a longer wavelength though sn't a problem.

The cables can gi into any port on the LNB,
As for recording, I think you have to have it activated by sky for £10.00 per month. Unless that's changed now,

If you enable vcard in your profile other members can send you email - this may help if you need to speak not in English.
I haven't tested the init file/ MAC address solutions but it should be 775 permissions.

Hi,
Can you clarify the reason you will not put the card in the internal card reader? Is it due to voltage?
Do I need to go and order a smargo smart reader? ;-)
Thanks,

I would guess it is a corrupted executable. Try downloading again and make sure you use the corrcect executable. Also be carefull to transfer as binary from PC to server

I have tried to get 28.2e and 19.2e on a 2.4m offset dish with some difficulty. The dish was centered on 28.2 but I only got half the channels on 19.2 . I couldn't get the sky germany channels(ex premier package) for the football.
When I centered on 19.2 ,28.2 was worse because the lnb arm was in the way.
I had suspected some trees in the distance were interfering but didn't get the chance ...

Hi there,
Please forgive me if I have the wrong section of the forum but I really need some help.
I have just bought a satellite kit with a 60cm dish. I am looking to receive many free to air channels. I can understand most foreign languages but I am not too good with any of the Asian channels. English channels will also be great if possible.
