I had a hand-held Pac-Man game (non-electronic). One where you dropped ball bearings down to Pac-Man on the bottom. Meanwhile, my sister BEGGED for this game. 10 minutes after we got it for her, it died. :p Blip! DQ

Sega Saturn

The system was good for its time but with Sega still pushing the Genesis and 32X it didn't get the exposure it deserved. That was a good ebay buy though, especially with two games. A guy around where I live has a used game store and sells Saturn's in the box for pretty cheap...but he prices the games way to high.

My dad raised me on what's now considered "Classic Rock". Hotel California by The Eagles, Breakfast In America by Supertramp, Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, and City To City by Gerry Rafferty were among some of the albums I grew up on... As for the first song I remember singing, it would have to be Hotel California... I was singing & dancing to it when I was 2, my parents told me...

I can't remember the name of this riding toy but it was all plastic, had a round base you sat in with two big (yet narrow) wheels. The wheels had handles and you turned in circular motion with your hands. You could go forwards, backwards and even spin in circles like a crazed lunatic. The base was red and the wheels yellow, although I may have that bass-ackwards. Meh, even if they do still ...

Steely Dan is definitely retro! Great 70's staple band, and if corporate radio gave them a chance, they'd still be one.

My brother had a friend who had one of these. I remember he used to bring it over every now and then so we could play stuff like Daytona, Virtua Fighter, Panzer Dragoon, Guardian Heroes and various Capcom fighters. IMO, the Saturn died due to both Sega's botched attempts at marketing it and hardware that was just wrong for the time (a 2D focused system with 3D tacked on, during a time when ...

There used to be a great store in North Syracuse called Switz's, which had amazing displays for Halloween. I can't find any images from those, but here's one of their Christmas commercials.
