I stated that this was on the grounds that they had telephoned me three times AND written to me three times in less than a month despite the fact I'd done everything 'by the book'. I have had a letter of apology in return - it remains to see whether an enforcement officer...

Hi Rainy, welcome to diary land.
Well done for facing up to your problems and it will be a slog, but as Martin says there is a solution for every problem.
Just a couple of things. I hope you are taking professional advice about your business and personal debts and please if not use one of the non fee paying debt advice companies for doing so.
Also you are not alone in this economic ...

Neat trick - only kidding - being on here so late is curdling my brain....oh and you being older than me is also chuffing (well we have to get our boosts where we can ).

Hi Cinny,
Didn't know you had a diary! 'Seen' you on Dinah's thread though. How long does your Tesco 0% have to run? I'm sure you can pay off by Xmas, if paying ?25 - ?30 a week, that's around ?100 a month, you'll do it no problem, I'm sure.
Or, why not pay off using savings then start afresh?!

If anyone remembers this thread, you may understand why I am so angry. Regarding that situation, I was ready to write a letter to the head, but I left it as daughter asked me to and I didn't want to upset her by having it all brought up again.
DD brought a letter home 2 weeks ago about a trip Yr 7's have been asked to go to, in Wales, in January for 3 days ~ cost £120
On another sheet ...
