I spend most of my day at the computer also, but dont know how you could possibly work a keyboard and mouse standing up unless you had a raised desk. I get out of the office for an hour at lunch and hit the gym. You're right in the sense that standing will use up more cals than sitting (a quick google brought up standing - 100 cals/hour and sitting 85 cals per hour). So thats 15 more an hour ...

Why, exactly, should congress spend money investigating this if the military and federal law enforcement will be looking into this? (please include support where it is constitutional for congress to launch such investigations). Seems to me, if the feds and military complete their investigation and there are still substantial questions, then maybe a congressional probe would be in order, but ...

I decide for myself what matters and what doesn't in the context of why I'm there. If I'm just there for a checkup I have no reason to tell him that I used to be a smoker or that I drink a lot on weekends. He can't "medically" do anything about it. What's he gonna do besides say "You shouldn't drink that much"?
