Lazarus - Risen from the dead

> Moving right along, got a shit ton done today... it rolls again. Shackles built and everything assembled with Lawson grade12 bolts. 120,000 pound tensile strength or something freaking insane like that. Springs mounted, rig flipped and axles back under it... whooohoooo Now, next in line is to get tub painted, frame painted, set tub on frame, build motor mounts, build tcase mounts, reinstall cage, wired it, etc... you know just a few hours...

Life and death situations I concur with but I don't see conceding any ground to the less than civil populace when it comes down to my home and peaceful habitation. I am not in your shoes though so take my suggestion with a grain of salt. It has been my...

> Won't happen here: 1. We don't have an alternative that is feasable. Europe has a kicka$$ train system. You don't NEED a car. There's some sort of train within walking distance of anywhere. And if you live in France, you get to do 180mph on the way to work on the TGV. (I did the Eurostar from London to Paris. That speed is sooooooo cool.) A tax like that here would be an economy buster. Americans must drive if America...

> quote: Originally posted by Jerry Bransford What you heard was wrong Gary. For a 35x12.50 tire, a 15x8 is strongly recommended (especially if you offroad) and is the more popular size for offroaders who air their tires down. It takes more air pressure to hold the tire beads securely in place with a 15x10 wheel than it does a 15x8 wheel. Ahhh what about spacing problems? Say I use the stock wheels that came with the jeep (15x8)? I believe...

> hahha.. yeah, I guess I do.. But, it is only the by product of a full life my friend... What really sucks, is the good ol days of taking care of things like this yourself are gone. Back in the day, and this may not be popular either, but I had a neighbor dog dispute years ago. They had a fairly vicious german shephard that ran the neighborhood terroizing other dogs, and kids.. I confronted the owner of the dog many times on behalf of...

Tonight's work sucked the balls, and not in the good kind of ball sucking way... Cut the H1 runflat's off for Dave's wheels. I had some concerns leaving them in, as he is only running 40" tires. That doesn't put much space between that magnesium and the rubber when aired way down. I think a runflat is was cut my tire in Harlan, and I run 44's... So, used my ...

We will probably have this introduced as a bill before long. Only difference will be that it will not replace sales tax/registration on the vehicle, and will be $3 per mile. So, if you drive 40,000 miles per year, like me, you'll pay $120K per year in vehicle " green taxes". Oh, and members of the House and Senate will be exempt, of course!

The problem you will not solve is that most of your neighbors are from a 3rd world country (I'm guessing most of them are foreign born) and are happy to tolerate dirt yards and loose dogs roaming around. You will not be able to raise their standard. If they are the actual homeowners and not renters, I wouldn't want to fight it. Is moving an option?

you should be fine with a 15" rim. that is what i've run on a 35" tire for the last couple years. there is a much greater choice of new and used tires with the 15" rim too IMHO

Calm down. It's 10% OVER what they currently take, not 10% of your paycheck. It'll amount to about $20/check for most people. It's an accounting gimmick to defer the state's debt load until next year by artificially increasing the general fund. If you overpay your taxes this year and are eligible for a refund, then you will get that much more of a refund in ...
