Certainly exciting times are here now in Hogland, with much more to come. Our wide open passing game has me jumping all around the family room...it's hard to contain my excitement at times.

Quote from: HogsCardsSkinsBucks on November 19, 2009, 11:51:07 PM That looks about right, Guv. IF Arkansas finishes 8-4. But no way the Hogs pick Cotton at 7-5. Agreed. At 7-5 the Hogs would go to the Music City (my preference of the 2), or the Liberty Bowl.

Quote from: Hogs12 on November 20, 2009, 09:03:54 AM It is my understanding that the Cotton Bowl has first pick of the West. It does not matter if we lost to Ole Miss, we would still go if we finish 7-5. I think it does not matter since we will win out and finish out 8-4. If we finish 7-5, and Ole Miss finishes 7-5 with a head to head win, and there isn't some outside factor that Cotton Bowl officials can point to as clearly defining...

You may be right on the 60/40, do you have numbers or are you just speculating like me, point is more of them showed up than us. As for coming off two losses, what say you about the attendance for usc and troy in our on home stadium when bowl eligibility is on the line? I don't think we make Dallas, but with the ticket price cheaper, we may sell out our allotment...

I agree. We are bad but we are not nearly as bad as last year. We aren't losing much on defense so we should continue to make improvement. And for those saying that we're still last in the SEC, that is not strictly true. We are last in total defense, but we are 9th in scoring defense. We obviously aren't where we need to be, but 9th is better than 12th (which we were last year)....

I think you've laid out the 8-4 scenario. I'm thinking 7-5 but if the stars align right you nailed it.

I don't know anything about WMS. It's been several years since I've been down there. Years ago I saw a guy who had too much to drink spray down the two rows in front of him. The police had to get him out of their to keep them from killing him!

And to think Dale didn't offer him!! D.J. now holds the record for return yards and is only a Soph. I think... He's had big games vs. some great D's as well. I like DJ a lot, and would like to see him get more carries, but all of our backfield are worthy of touches.
