A positive review from TIME... New Moon Review: Team Jacob Ascending By Nancy Gibbs Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 Twilight: New Moon The bad news for all those screaming, stalking, fainting, fervent fans of Twilight star Robert Pattinson is that he is largely absent from most of the sequel, The Twilight Saga: New Moon. But that's the good news for everyone else. If pressed to name the weakest link in Stephenie Meyer's four-book series,...

For example, having a costar in the same category can eliminate someone's chances of winning if both performances are of equal weight. If just Sarandon had been nominated for alone Thelma & Louise, rather than with Davis, I...

I think she has a better chance of winning than Mulligan because her film is...

Both "Salute" and "For The Lovers" would make excellent singles. Also, "Call You Tonight," "Nothin' But Love" and "Worth It" could do very well on the charts.

GRAMMYS: Best New Artist • 2005
Published (2009-11-19 20:03:00)
John Legend "Get Lifted" was a great album, and "Ordinary People" was one of my favorite songs of that year, so I'm glad that John Legend won. Love Keane and that they were remembered when they weren't on many people's radars for this. I didn't really follow Sugarland back then, and even though I'm a fan now, if I'm voting based on back then, I can't pick them for the win. Fall Out Boy...

The Official Mary J Blige "...
Published (2009-11-19 13:20:00)
A major artist of Mary J. Blige's or Usher's caliber selling only 200k during the week of Christmas is nothing to right home about PERIOD! Any major record label exec would tell you that. This is X-Mas season, not any regular Monday or Tuesday. And yes, I do agree. You can't call an album a flop until it runs its course, but I seriously doubt those albums sell consistently unless they have hit after hit. I still say anything...

I really like "Empire State of Mind" so glad it is #1. The turn around of the #1 spot on the chart lately has been refreshing. I hope "Bad Romance" can get to #1. On a sad note, that stupid "Tik Tok" song is REALLY starting to grow on me.

Sandra Bullock? Depends on how weak best actress is this year. If the film gets decent to good reviews, and solid box office, she could certainly be in the running. I could see her getting two Golden Globe nods (one for The Proposal, and one for The Blind Side).

What the hell? 11/23 is only about a month away! Where's the promotion? Where's the first single? What is wrong with label reps these days? You have to promote an album. People still seem to think an album will sell just because it's the holiday season.
