If it's performing properly it doesn't really cause a hp loss. Just keep it in there until you get a full exhaust system.

Hmm...that'd be odd if something fell behind the timing belt cover and just damaged the trigger plate and/or the sensor. I would think that'd be a few items down, with timing belt being the first.

Well you SHOULD do more searching. He does promote this company. He was "trying to convince the masses". Its clear. If he were just glad to get what he wanted he would have said that. He never did. If that's the case then he shouldn't care about the reasons not to get it. But no, he went after those reasons like it was against the purpose of his thread. Step back and look at this. He said he bought it because it uses better...

Im assuming the problem was there before you changed ECU right? If not it could, possibly be the issue-maybe. Not likely though.
Have you checked the spring in your WG? If its shot your turbo could be spooling/surging/not spooling like crazy, it would act as if there was no spring really and that could cause your issue. WG opening/closing on its own can cause some lean/rich issues and def. ...

What are you trying to ask...
If you have the cams out, all the valves will be shut. The cams are what push the valves open.
When your installing them just make sure your not pushing a valve into a piston set TDC and cam timing accordingly.

Since you will have all the crap apart to take the one piston out, i would get a stock piston, and a set of rings and rod bearings for all 4 pistons. If you do all the labor yourself and right, you will save a load of money.

I have a manual steering rack that should be here in a couple days or so that will give me something to occupy my time for a bit. Also have 2 street/strip racing tires that should be in today so be mounting those up and hopefully be able to run one more time before the season closes. Then it's a waiting game to see when ECMtuning releases the dsmlink LITE package for 1g's. After that i'll keep my...

No that is not stock. Thats an authentic Greddy type-s blow off valve. The stock 2g blow off valve is all black and made out of plastic.

Turbo is a wonderful thing, and assuming the GST hasn't been tampered with it will have the eprom ECU in it, which is nice for upgrading tuning down the road.
Without seeing more pictures of the car your trading to/the car you have it is difficult to give a full opinion!
But it is ultimately up to you, maybe hold out for an AWD?
Hope I helped!

Check your coolant level. The 510cc injectors, i believe if i'm not wrong, are standard on evo3 motors, so you should be ok.
As for the car cranking over, have you checked to see if maybe you have a clogged fuel filter or line/s that is not allowing enough fuel to get by ?

, I just posted a wheel thread myself. As for your choices, both of those wheels are great. Bronze is definitely gonna turn some heads, also the wheel style is more subtle on the 5Z's. The rpf1 has a more aggressive and race look to it IMO. I have ran enkeis on 2 previous DSM's and have always been very satisfied with the weight and durability of their products. Hmmm. Interested to see what...

replace the cat with a straight peice of pipe. prob will sound raspy but will be better and way less time than drilling the cat. im gonna guess the max hp gain you would see is 2-4 whp.
I have drilled out a exhaust on a 02 zx6r and it was a pain in the ass. its a mesh of metal in there and you need a long drill bit and alot of time. A cat may be different slightly but i doubt

Get a Noid light and see if the injectors are firing first. Just because it's not getting fuel doesn't mean that it is the computer. Did this just happen or was there a problem that has been getting worse. When say the fuel pump works, do you mean that it actually pumps fuel or it just runs? A pump can run and not actually flow fuel.
Step 1 - Check injector pulse with Noid light
Step 2...

I've heard lots of bad things about using puck discs with springs. A couple guys on here who're putting down good HP swear by the xtd stage 4, which comes with an unsprung disc.
As far as the stage 1 and 2 I've read mostly bad reviews on them.

Well I agree with everyone else. From the insurance company perspective, its probably totaled, but it is definitely fixable.
I have scavaging junkyards in the last few weeks looking for stuff for my car and there are plenty of parts available. In fact, I have seen more 90-91 then i have 92-94, which sucks for me since I have a 94.
I sold my car a few years ago after it took a *hit...

Do you have MAFT or SAFC to tune the new injectors?
1.If you're running stock boost of 8psi or even 12 psi, the stock 450cc should be enough
2. If you havent rewired the stock one then do it, or get Evo8-9 fuel pump. These days they go for 30-40 bucks
3.Stock 2g manifold should be good, although I'd port it so it matches the 7cm housing of the 16g. I'd also port the O2 housing, if...
