Cheers.. I work in Product control (middle man between accountants and traders). Laymans terms is basically tell traders and managers the profits or losses and then answer any question the accountants might ask about trading activity. Worked half my life for an investment bank and the other in commodities (BP Oil).. All pretty much the same just different products. Due to various banks going under and so many people axed. so few places hiring...

What I know about macs isn't very much (but this is the only way I'll get my post count closer to Darrens) but I thought they started to use a processor based on the intel architecture which would allow you to install Windows on if you so wished. If you want to run the Mac OS and run office you will need to buy the Mac version of office, if you don't have the windows platform installed then you can run the software designed for...

I bought the same setup for my TomTom One last month, did take pic's, but was to lazy to post. Plus I got stick for my heated grips so thought I would cop it for the GPS! I also attached a acc. plug under my LH infill for the charger. Good tidy install all round, and reasonable price! TomTom One isn't waterproof, but a plastic coin bag from the bank fits nicely over it and keeps it dry! For the Aussies, this was the cheapest and...

Ultra bright lights make a difference. Not a massive difference, but a noticable difference. Fairly cheap mod and definately worth doing. Don't waste your money on super expensive Phillips globes or anything like that. They don't work any better and the globes have a life expectancy of about 200hrs. With out lights on all the time thats not very long. I went through 2 sets in less than 2 years.

No I didn't bother checking the rectifier, I just went straight to the stator, I took mine out and tested it, just because I wanted to take a look, but to be honest i could see it was knackered before I even tested it. I didn't drain the oil, coz to test it I would need to run the bike, I did however change the oil after i had fitted the new stator whilst I had all the fairing off. I don't actually know how to test the...

Hi mate, welcome to the fold. 650 is agreat choice of bike. Good looks, handles well and a sportsbike you can use all day. Dont' worry too much about a triumph race can. Any decent race can will work with the triumph race tune. Have a hunt about. There are lots of options. If you've got any questions just shout - one of us is bound to be able to help. Mine's a ...

just how old is the battery? a battery which is on its last legs may accept enough charge for a few starts but die mid-ride, have had both my D600s die of a dying battery while riding. I recommend trying a brand new battery (which if it turns out it was the charging system won't have been money wasted anyhow). _________________ 04 Valmoto Replica Track Bike.

I commute daily into London, and Friday I had my second puncture in 3 months. I managed remove the offending screw and plug it with this http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products?mn=0201&st=mn, I was just wondering if anybody on here has used the Ultraseal or Slime, or any of the other sealants on the market? It all sounds too good to be true, but if it works I may well invest £20-£30 and stick ...

hello! so i'm finally posting here for the first time, having had my yellow daytona 650 for 2 and a half years now (bought it 'new' in '07). I have almost 20k on it and have decided I need a louder pipe, mainly for safety reasons as the drivers here in Las Vegas are blind! of course the fact that it would sound better too is a plus, but the power side, i'm not too worried about...

The oil change wont be the cause of the problem. Do you switch the bike off at the ignition or use the kill switch? Any previous electrical problems? Have a look under the tank, make sure everything is dry and there's no rust there.
