Just wondering how many of you out there fish in the quarries around here... I have had tremendous success in these highly under fished bodies of water How bout you?

As of 3 pm 2.5 inches of rain so far here.

Went out to twin lakes with the purple pancho suit. Slow at the beginning on the south side, but then i started fishing by the boat dock and BAM i got a huge bite and a glimpse of the biggest fish i have ever seen in that lake. i had him on there until he took off the other way and snapped the line like it was nothing. Rainy day produced excitement, but no fish.

Did anyone lose a small tackle box full of round painted and unpainted round jigheads? I found them laying on the ground with noone around during a lunchtime excursion. PM me to ID and claim them. Otherwise they will become my property, even though the sizes are not what I would use.

as all of you probably know Channahon state park is one of the 11 set to close. We got a flyer today. There is a rally there on Monday at 9am to protest this closing. I know a lot of people have plans, but thought I would post it for those with the morning free.
