He sounds like a real dirt ball..... would hate to do business with him. Getting his item number (as scoutll mentioned) would sure help in future ebay buying. Especially if ebay does not take action.

Oh, I didn't explain that I have the system set on duel boot for windows and Linux, in separate partitions of course. I've never seen anything like this before. No problem in Windows, just Fedora. The system is fully functional, but the wobbly scrolling will drive you crazy. Must be a way to stop this.

The Smart Car - British Car Forum

Bite away. I'm unapologetic about my interest in small cars. As a former owner of several classic Minis (and a daily commuter on Rt. 80 in a Miata), I understand the issues with driving small, "unsafe" cars. But if more of us drove small cars and even micro cars, instead of the tanks we see on American roads, small cars wouldn't be viewed as "unsafe". Plus we'd have the benefits of saving gas....

Bugeye transmission - British...

Actually you don't need to change it, the thickness change is only around 1/8" and the spline/clutch takes care of any problems there. The only combination problems are if you put a smoothcase tranny up to a 1098 engine the pressure plate fouls the tranny bellhousing and needs to be cleared (this is only because the 1098 pressure plate is HUGE). Have you tried Craigslist? I have bought and sold parts on that before. If
the part is easily shipable, I think you might get higher prices on Ebay
due to larger audience.

I think they're hideous. I don't really "get" it. They're ugly as sin, they're not cheap, they're not incredibly fuel efficient (it's not like they're getting 70mpg), and they're absolutely tiny . When I see them on I95 around here they seem to be driven by obnoxious farts (OFs) that love to ride in the left lane doing 60mph, and they look like they're sitting up against the back window of ...

At rest with the car off - does it shifts fine into all the other gears w/out excessive effort? At rest, but running, how does it shift into all the other gears? Others may have a better idea of how to check if you specifically lost 2nd gear or it's synchro.

Dave- that's pretty cool. Wendy and I were just discussing whether or not you might be able to get your hands on a ticket. Wow!! We are so happy for you!! Now, about the photos. On my boat I take my pocket digital and put it inside a plastic zip- lok baggie. I take it out for photos. You could do the same thing. Take photos between rain showers. Can't wait to see your photos. dale & wendy
