He was soon promoted to Principal Cornet and held this position until being appointed as the bands Musical Director in 1997. Over the 11 years that Chris has been Musical Director the band has ...

I would like to joing a band that is contesting and has a busy concert calender and wants to win things. Have been frustrated at the lack of ambition at current band and that's the reason for looking elsewhere. Any questions or ideas of where to try...

Hi all, Has anyone used Sibelius 5 yet and has anyone got an opinion on it yet? I'm not that impressed, personally. The things they have done as improvements are largely things I don't bother with. Some slight improvements and some bug fixes are OK, but there are still some major hassles that have been there since v3. I'm a bit disappointed.

OK. Seen as there was a resounding motion in the old virtual charades league to clear the scorecard and start afresh here is the NEW thread to start that in motion. If you don't know how it works its basically charades on a computer, you can also check the old thread here about what has gone before. Lots of descriptions of general arm flailing and pointing. 1 point for a correct guess...

There's a biker who goes up the M23/M25 junction in the mornings who, if he believes you are incorrectly in his way by being in the outside lane when the inner lanes are empty, will kick your door as he passes with what look like steel toe capped boots.
