Hello all, I've a two node cluster with SunOS 9/Suncluster 3.1 and Oracle 9. If I put the passive node on maintenance and I do some work on master node (unmounting, remoting, setting archivelog mode, create pfile) what do the cluster software? It'll try to restart oracle, mount or unmount storage luns and so on or I can work on oracle without encountering any problem? Thanks ...

What are your favorite magazines, Mac and/or PC? Back when I had a Dell 'puter, I loved PC World magazine. Lots of great useful information in there. When I switched to the Macintosh in 2003 I subscribed to Mac World magazine for a year. It was ok, but didn't seem to measure up to the quality of info I found in PC World. (Funny, same publisher) I just sent a new order for Mac World...

Hi, I have several programs that generate files that are meant to be loaded onto WordPress. But WordPress uses only the clipboard to generate a blog entry. So now I have too use Konsole with 'more' or 'nano' and copy-paste. But that is time consuming. Isn't there a tool out there that immediately loads a file onto the clipboard? Today a dist-upgrade within Lenny wants to bring in ktorrent 3 and with it a large chunk of KDE 4. Should I allow this? I don't want to have to try to undo it later, and I'm not sure I want both KDE 3 and KDE 4 installed on Lenny desktops as I had hoped to avoid KDE 4 until Lenny+1. The dist-upgrade also wants to remove kdebase-bin-kde3 which makes me a little nervous. Logs follow. ...
