The main point of having a Shaykh is that he will have devoted all his life to rigorous training in Sharia, Sunnah, tasawwuf, islah of the nafs and so on. He is in a position to share condensed drops of his knowledge to his mureeds, according to their individual needs and abilities. A karate master will usually have decades of discipline and experience under his black belt; his aspiring karate students usually hope that one day they will...

The science of Tajwid is concerned with the particulars of recitation, as codified in the scholarly tradition. As an emphasized sunna, Tajwid ...

There is nothing wrong with that, if the man and woman have both agree to getting married, who are you to tell them otherwise? Is it going to affect you in anyway?
I suggest you watch Dr. Zakir Naik's talk at Peace Conference 2009 which was made a few days ago on Woman's Rights, you can find it on Youtube here:

There are many Sunni Syeds, but usually they don't bragg about it like Shi'a do. Because with the virtue it brings a great responsibility with it, the family of Rasulullah has always given tremendous sacrifices for the sake of Allah...
