What do they call a Government like that? No swearing please! If it's Brown, flush it down...

It's pleasing to see, in the storm of commentary over Professor David Nutt's sacking as the government's chief drugs adviser, that everyone outside politics now recognises the importance of scientific evidence in devising laws. But a strange reasoning twitch has appeared, in the arguments of politicians and rightwing commentators. Science can tell us about the molecules, they say, about their effect on the body and the risks....

I watched this and was shocked as my kids favourites did not fair well at all. Mine on the other hand I think is ok, wheatabix. Anyway kids are not allowed those cereals any more, and in all honesty some one needs to campaign the FSA to sort are food out in this country as most things that are on sale to us are not very good for us. So the UK are not playing catch up yet, needs a few more of us to explain the benefits of cannabis as voiced by the USA! This has to be put to crown court Judges, and the more we explain the more they may listen! Win

Still I definately would like to see Cannabis along with our normal psychoactive legal highs like caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, which seem to be left out on this article of legal highs, just a ...

Great quotes in here! Most drugs are more harmful than cannabis, this has been said for years! Caffeine being the one that suprised me and still does, as it gets no demonisation at all! However as a regular caffeine addict, I suppose I enjoy the fact that my drug isn't being attacted by the media even though it kills , only a few people, and makes people anxious when they take too much. Booze...

Hi all : ) what a week eh... Just wanted to comment on "the population is with me" - he's right, we need to strike now while the iron is hot. Since it is a taboo subject its not something which ends up in conversation much but this week is different, the fact it is now in the national spotlight means everyday people are talking about it, and faced with the facts most rational people are having ...

( I often wonder if that is why you can grow opium poppies in the UK!) The First Opium War or the First Anglo-...
