Ok, just as everyone said the seam was obvious as soon as I took the rub rail off. Do I just use a screw driver or puddy knife and wedge it in the seam? And whats my plan for putting it back on?

Hi Y'awl, We all know Force motors smoke more than other OB's ... especialy idling (trolling) why I dont know since all seems normal at Wot. My question is this: any chance using a hotter spark plug would solve part of that problem ? (obviously without overheating the motor) Tx

I finally succeeded in removing my outdrive ('91 Alpha One) and now wish I hadn't. The boat was a freebie from my uncle and has been sitting for the last 3-4 years. I removed the engine (3.0 mercruiser) but the outdrive was stuck, finally got it off and the shaft, bearing and u-joints are covered in rust and the grease is a mucky goo. The outdrive was only supposed to have about 15 hours on it...

I just bought one of these used and am interested to hear from other owners what their experiences good or bad with these boats. I have a 115 hp Mercury on it and I love this boat. I would like to figure a way to mount a trolling motor on the bow without messing with the railing.
