I'm nuts too. Morgan used to play tag and have hours long standup mock brawls with Luther. She's grown some extra dignity or something in the 3 years since Luther passed I got Otto. He tries to play with her - constantly, gives her his beloved ball. Nothing unless she wants to wrestle with him. Then he gets too excited and grabs her neck then game over!

I don't think additional votes count now that she's won, but she didn't win on votes anyway. They do have a People's Choice winner most months, (the picture with the highest vote count), but that's pretty much impossible to get unless you've got a few hundred friends willing to vote for you every day. The rest of the monthly winners are apparently selected by the company because they like them, which is how Halo...

I might even consider following up with a letter. Ursa had 3 days of extra misery becasue they did not follow thru. Having had a UTI or two myself I know they are not fun.

I know the pros will weigh in, but what helped me was when Chyanne decides
she has no clue what I taught her the day before was not do any training
for that day.... this has worked wonders for me, as of yesterday, when I
tell her to sit, she would like at me like I was standing on my head! So
today she can be her butt head puppy self. Tomorrow is a new day! I used to
cry myself to sleep sometimes...

How old is he? If he's not going to the bathroom and you know he's potty trained and having water limited overnight, he likely knows whining and barking gets him attention and to go play outside. I'd just ignore him.

Pet quality would be something like a long coat or little to no drive. Show quality would be a pup that has the correct structural build and gait. You can see that at 8 weeks but it doesn't always mean it STAYS that way. And some pups that were 'pet' at 8 weeks can go on to become awesome breed ring dogs. If a breeder really KNOWS their lines and has produced several litters and followed them...

Barb, some of my happiest memories with my own Dad involved Saturday afternoons at the (Cal-Berkeley) Bear's home games. I so wish my Dad were around to enjoy BSU football with me. I hear the marching band start and I am instantly 17 (or 18, or 19) again, watching college football with my Dad. Sheilah

The basic organs are brains, eyes, liver, kidneys and pancreas. Lungs can be dehydrated for treats or just tossed to the dogs as muscle meat. Seeing that you are in WI I would not feed any neck bones, brains or spine because of CWD ( Chronic Wasting Disease). Rib bones tend to dry out really fast if all the meat is removed. I would either feed them with the meat or just toss them. Legs, once ...

I use a target I don't do forced go outs or retrieves. But let me ask what you consider a forced go out? I will take the dog by the collar and run to the target with the dog to help them get it right.

wow excessive much? Shes 10 yrs old! Thats all an emotionally distrubed
child needs. I know that some ppl might think 10 is old enough to know
better but seriously have they tested those things on kids?? (I hope not)
Why don't they figure out why she doesn't want to shower instead of
shooting her with a taser.

well...I don't think I'd pay the bill on that one other than the meds. where was the vet? Do you have to go back tomorrow? You could go to tractor supply, get vet wrap in the equine section and rewrap it yourself. Just be careful you don't get it to tight.

absolutely not wrong! Unfortunately statistics show most people who are violent with animals transfer that violence to humans. Mad or not, sorry I'd kick him to the curb (not literally of course)

there was a guy at the stable that used to do that to Jax. He would walk right up to her and tell her to sit. She looked at him like the idiot he was and then he would make comments to me about how she doesn't listen. I said to him "Why would she listen to you? You aren't her owner. That's not one of your beagles sitting there." I always wanted to hit him in the head with the nearest object...

Other than MRI's (very expensive) mammograms are the most accurate I believe. Ultrasounds can confirm but not diagnose. I don't think thermal imaging is covered by many insurance and are more expensive. The rest of your points are well taken. ************ my doctor supports my choice not to get mammograms. He even told me his sister has chosen not to do them.

Hope he heals soon.Good thing Max didn't get into it or he might be in worse shape. You'll just have to ease back into social interacts slowly and he may always have a problem with that breed or color dog in the future. Good luck and keep us updated on his healing.
