http://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/E-book_Reader_Matrix Comments: A good near possibility is a dual screen device. With the epaper being the major and an iPod like screen below. This has already been done from the site above. This is convenient and helps avoid carrying dual devices, specially for the frequent traveller. However, this can also be a great distraction from focused reading. Guess they also have games for the...

Upgrading RAM in a Dell...

Don't thank me, I am trying to stay out of this. If you break something, or something does not work I do not want to hand hold some inexperienced person through hours of troubleshooting (nothing personal). I replace some RAM in this computer a couple of months ago or so and it is indeed a fifteen minute job, probably more for a new person learning. Get the right RAM, open the case, clip it in , turn it on and everything works way better...

Incidentally, I have never heard of anyone being arrested or thrown in jail merely because a cop discovered he was driving without insurance. The people I...

Eggo crisis hits store shelves

I guess if you have never had homemade waffles, you can't really taste a difference. There are some brands better than others just like anything. One thing I do not understand is Preggo. That is NASTY stuff and to this day I cannot eat it. It tastes like a saltlick combined with a factory synthesized tomato. We used to make our own sauce at home and the canned stuff tastes terrible. Though I will have to say after 20 some years of not...

You can use Vista, forever. In about 4 or 5 years, (the exact schedule can be obtained from the MS site) they will stop offering all support, except for security updates. I could still use my Windows 98, if my computer did not die. In any event a Happy Thanksgiving to you. _________________ Richard

A coworker of mine got an iPOD to work, 30Gigs with Video. Lookes reallygood. I shared my concern about ears being hurt by sound. My friendmentioned that we always hear natural noise, so using the iPOD in lowvolume must be ok. But I wonder how anyone can watch a Video on such asmall screen ? Any related experience, sites, comments on thesemini-portable devices are welcome.Thanks.Vijay

Here is a $35 solution, since you will need a converter box to do what you want.

I guess I fit in all three catagories. I remember how much better life was 50 years ago but I am totally content with things as they are. In the 50s, people were more friendly, had better morals, didn't live a life above their income and kept the family unit together as it had been for centuries. I am for betterment for the majority of families but wonder why our government spends so much time...

I found this website. Put it in your favorites. Some day in the future you are going to see something in your computer that looks suspicious. Check it out with this website to see if it is safe or is it a Virus?

This is an understandable reaction to the wholesale and flagrant copyright infringements euphemistically called downloading. Wholesale theft has lead to some draconian and clumsy legislation.
Critics should offer some constructive solutions instead of whining when the "free" music and movies users are finally being held accountable.
