So I'm curious as to how everyone trains on their own? I'm starting to hit a lull in my training, and looking for new ideas. Currently I hit the tire for power and to work on combinations, as well as foot work drills; I hang tennis balls and strike at them, but do not hit them, for accuracy; Then try to work on a combination of footwork/striking for accuracy and power in the air. Thanks...

Don't Bring a Gun to a Knife Fight! Don't Bring a Gun to a Knife Fight! There is an old saying that goes something like this, DON'T BRING A KNIFE TO A GUN FIGHT! This little saying should be entered into every person's hard drive or at least those folks who covet the combat arts. There is, however, another saying, perhaps not as old but damn sure as poignant, DON'T ...

Hi everybody, I am right now 50 years old and I very interested in martial arts. I'm just wondering if there's an age limit to when you start taking martial arts. I'm afraid that when I start too late, I would not be proficient no matter how much I practice. So what do you think the best age to start is? How old were you when you started learning martial arts? Have a nice day.
