No, it's just an ordinary scam. 647-864-5217 No doubt the phone is a throwaway pay as you go paid for in cash. Cash, as in what you'll never see again if you hand it over for one of these non-existent purchases. 647-864-5217 - Google Search

There's another largely unknown verse to that song that that starts out: Hang down my leg, Long T . . . Well, I'll end it there for now, but it does indeed rhyme.

If smoke did nothing else it would almost certainly impair the efficiency of cooling fans and reduce the ability of internal components to radiate excess heat. That alone would constitute abuse every bit as much as duct taping over the ventilation openings.

I hear that the Leafs are getting Celine Dion to sing at their games now ........... somewhat like Kate Smith singing at the Flyers games to bring them luck. As it was written "Bernie Parent? Bobby Clark? The Watson Bros? Schultz and Kelly? Why did the Flyers win two cups in two years? Kate Smith!" We shall see. A pity VisualHub is no longer around.
It will do what the OP is looking for in one single step.
Stich the two avi videos together AND convert them to DVD AND burn the DVD file to disk - all fully automated.

There's a big thread already for people's thoughts on the Magic Mouse.
Magic Mouse - who's getting one?
It does suck that they took out all the extra features of the Mighty Mouse. But, the Magic Mouse makes up for it a bit by being so cool and useful with the Momentum Scroll. I have every bit of faith that Apple will be able to put in two and maybe three-finger gestures in time with...

Text messages including SMS/MMS are NOT included with the Telus iPhone 50, 65, 80 & 100 plans. This is similar to both Rogers an Bell where SMS/MMS are part of a feature 'value pack', usually costing $15 or more. At the bottom of the plan description is this:
Text Messaging and Caller ID
15¢ per sent or received text message or ADD unlimited Text Messaging and Caller ID for $15/month...

Did you give out information when they called you, or you called them?
Did you call them at the number they provided? Did you look it up on your own and verify it?
This is how identity theft works. It isn't even theft--it's more like a gift, from us to them.
Don't even think that you're safe verifying partial details. "Can we have just the last four digits of your credit card ...

Smoke makes computers disgusting to work on, and I have no doubt the tar and other crap damages the components. I have no sympathy for those that smoke at their computers, or around others.

Has Apple discontinued the USB modem dongle?
My Aunt just bought a new iMac, and was wondering how to fax from it, through her printer/scanner/copier. I told her she needed the Apple modem, but it seems like it's no longer available at the Apple store. I saw a third party one at U o of T's computer shop downtown a couple of weeks ...

This is totally Amazon jumping in quickly to get any sort of traction before the Apple tablet arrives in early 2010.

SATA is all you need to know about the hard drive.
There are take apart guides available online which will also tell you what tools you need. You often need a Torx T8 drive as well as a small Philips, but check with the online guides. (I haven't done an Intel iMac).
There are lots of screws, of many different lengths, so it's a good idea to print out the instructions and tape the ...

MacBook/ iMac screen issues
Hey all,
I've mentioned in a few other threads the issues I'm having with my early 2009 white Macbook and late 2008 27" iMac.
Both of their screens have issues with uneven illumination. The Macbook has dark 'mountains' at the bottom of the screen. Mountains because it looks as though you are ...

Who GAVE you two MacBooks? And recent-ish ones! That's insane!
Anyway, I think the performance for day-to-day stuff is gonna be similar on those two machines. It comes down to two things: IMHO:
Glossy vs. Matte Screen and Portability.
Depends on what you value most. If you value protability most - then keep the 15" and give the 17" away. 15" is 5.4lbs and 17" is 6.8lbs. That's...
