jtrutan, considering your reading pattern for now, I highly recommend The Naked Ape by Desmond Morris. It's out of print now, but I always see a copy in some book sales. It's a revolutionary book in its time, and many of the points still ring true today. http://maryannemoll.blogspot.com

The best book I have read so far this year is The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I think this is a book any booklover can enjoy, a celebration of reading. This is the one book I recommend to all my friends without hesitation.
