An older gentleman came by one of my dealer friend's table today with two coins in a single flip, one in each pocket: a 1909 S VDB and a '16 D. My friend passed on the coins and asked me what I thought. The S VDB had the wrong B--the cross bar wasn't slanting. I'm pretty sure it was chased. The '16 D had the rotated reverse that is expected from two of the die marriages, but I was a little iffy about the D. So, I asked...

I have P A D and it's major. The doc told me to just take it easy, but, that's...

This seller voluntarily refunded ,without expectation or demand of the return before refunding. Only after the refund for the counterfeit item was issued, did the seller request the item be returned. Where is the buyer's obligation to return a counterfeit item to the seller/scammer?

I'll pat myself on the back for calling his actual policy right ...

The first part of Holmes' Large cent collection realized over $15 million! The catalog is an encyclopedia of the early die marriages. Great stuff. If you're interested in early Large cents, it is $15 well spent.

Kids do dumb things. I would be totally scared of letting my child sit in jail, but I don't in any way condemn your choice. Apart from the shoplifting and talking back, it's seems that she's been a good kid so far. It's a difficult position for you to be in. I'd be praying every minute that nothing awful happens to her while she's in there
