Regarding eBay's new policy: Maximum Shipping and Handling Costs http://pages.ebay.com/sell/August2008Update/MaxShi pping/ I ship many books and LPs! This is ABSURD!!! They're going to put me OUT OF BUSINESS! Example Books/Antiquarian & Collectible they say $4.00 MAX! Do they know how HEAVY those old books are??? Most are thick hardcovers with GLOSSY paper pages and cost $4.00 alone, NOT ...

This is a copy of an ask seller question one of my buyers just sent me. "Q: Just wanted to let you know that I will be leaving Ebay because of their new ONLY electronic payment plan. While I like the things I buy on Ebay, I must make a stand on this issue. I have used PAYPAL numerous, numerous times and I have use checks or money orders once in a great while. However, I resent the heavy handed...

Just to let everyone know. I printed via paypal the lable for item 110273415832, and it was picked up by a postal person along with 5 other ebay item. However two packages were never scanned into the system and are now off the map. The other packages look 10 days plus to get to the correct places, however the large oil is gone. So if you print your lable for the post office via paypal what do ...

Advertise pickup only, free shipping! shipping can be arranged as a separate purchase of a service for X dollars, if you don't want to pick up the goods. Service not covered by PayPal! ozzie3 always correct, never wrong, but humble in my greatness

I'm fairly new to eBay and I've tried both First-Class Mail and Priority Mail (USPS). It seems like there isn't too big of a amount of time is takes for a large envelope to arrive; there is, however, a big difference in the prices. But I do like how Priority Mail has its own envelopes. Which do you think is a better deal? And I'd love to hear about the other options. Thanks! [=

I ship my package via US Mail- I have never had a problem with them- In contrast, FEDEX is a nightmare- I think they go out of their way to lose or mismail parcels- UPS is adequate, but too slow... Which company do you stand by? Which do you avoid like the plague? Any bad experinces? FEDEX just lost a $250 item mailed to me- They were required to get my signature, but of course they just ...

Well, eBay has done it again. They have told lies about feedback problems with checks and money orders (like I don't know how to use toolhaus.org). They have lied about terms used on DSRs (Reasonable does not mean unreasonable). They have lied that coupon incentives will retain those who refuse to use non-mail payment forms, and they have lied about the supposed benefits of their feedback changes...

As a long-time boardie, I have a suggestion about the discussion boards. How about limiting OPs with rants, as to how many times they can make a post like "I'm done with this topic!" or " I will never post on these boards again !!" You know what? Forget that suggestion. It'll never fly and I don't particulary care to be ridiculed for making it OR other posters to disagree with me. I'M ...
