I'd go with that 4 channel mixer then. Check out Guitar Center, Audiolines.com, and Americanmusicalsupplies.com for needles, needles are eliptical or spherical. You'll want spherical for scratching.

Best of luck fella Is the bar quite on Monday and Wednesday ? If so.. Just an idea, you could always use up one of them days (mon-weds) to set up a open decks night.. that way you get to know more Dj's alike in the area and fill the bar a little. Have about 5-8 play per night, 45min each. That way they bring friends, if each Dj brings 10-15 freinds, it works out ok. Also on the that night you could push the other night you'll be...

No, but several manufacturers make what's called a " battle bridge" which is essentially a U shaped piece of metal which mounts (read: hangs) on the edges of the TT cases.
Try Odyssey.

The way you beatmatch has nothing to do with it. You don't even technically have to know how to beatmatch!
A DJ is anyone who can supply a party/get- together with music. Doesn't matter if you use decks, a MIDI controller or even playing song after song on iTunes. If you can rock a group of people by playing tunes then you are a DJ.

Was it equipment failure? I'm surprised he was actually DJing. I saw him
live here in Copenhagen at the Voice '09 concert. I'm almost positive he
was just jumping around and clapping his hands behind his decks.....with
the music in the background. Kelly Rowland nailed it though.
