Eljay, I do kwym! I see a healthy relationship with food as part of a healthy lifestyle eating healthy food and incorporating treats. It is one thing to plan and buy healthy whereas, it is another thing to obsess and worry about everything you put in your mouth. I have seen individuals who are determined to stay at a weight that is unrealistic for their body and their time and effort is consumed in maintaining that weight. (Yes I used that...

I'm starting to read again and I'm once again starting to think about what's new in the bookstore and I'm really getting excited about books I have in the house that I haven't read. This is huge for me. Coming up are books from Ivan Doig, Patrick Taylor, Toni Morrison, John Updike, E. L. Doctorow and if I get all my focus back, then I want to read David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. I love reading Charles Dickens....

Oh I love reading people's food logs - gives me good ideas for myself
tag - is if you want to put in keywords so others can search for your journal with them, like low carb, low fat etc. I don't use them though

Nice new journal! I do like that mantra!
You have found a great accountability mechanism for your exercise, and your 25 days out of 30 goal sounds great. Do you need something to help you out more accountability-wise with food? I wrote all of my food down & gave it to the trainer for several weeks in July, which is what really got me kick-started again. Every little bit helps!

Hi, CJL:
Congratulations on starting a new journal. I keep thinking about doing that very same thing, but then I don't get it done. Maybe you will inspire me to start one.
At any rate, best of luck to you on your weight-loss journey. And I believe that it is a journey, a never-ending journey. Even those of us who have achieved a goal still struggle with our personal issues and continue ...

Bell, I love your new journal title and attitude! As we learn and grow we tend to be more aware of ourselves and our goals change as our lifestyle and needs changes. You are fabulous already in my opinion and you are a great role model for all of us as we strive to be fit and fabulous! Being responsible and accountable without obsessing sounds like a great plan!

Hmmm.......my pants have been shrinking too! Strange that we both have tha problem at the same time.
But anyhoo, I know some people say not to wait to start, like start NOW or at the next meal. I can't do that either. I have to have my mind set to start and I have to have good food choices lined up. Nothing wrong with waiting till Saturday. Now if you said you were waiting till after...
