I tried it in a scheduled email on a report and in Event Studio in an email task (since you had mentioned E.S. before) and neither works in Outlook. Can you tell us where you did that - a regular schedule or Event Studio? It might just be an Outlook problem and I'm curious.

Value Prompt
Published (2009-11-20 10:25:00)
Hi claoker, A couple of questions to clarify this: did you develop the reports in 2 pages (one for USA, one for EURO)? If so, reorder the pages. did you make the report in 1 page, sectioning by USA and EURO? If so, change ordenation of the Data Item which stores those values. Hope it helps. If not, could you explain a bit more about how you have developed the report? AlexPM

Hi Jay - I had hoped to have something final to say about this issue but it looks like there will not be decisions made on wheter to fix the widget until after the holidays. For what it may be worth here is what I know at the moment. As you may have noticed the article "Demo of how to use the StrikeIron widget in a mashup" has been removed from the WIKI because this (what I believe you were trying) no longer works. We confirmed that...

I don't understand the proper syntax for specifying member names in Cognos expressions. When I look at a member unique name in Report Studio for an item in my cube (Microsoft cube) I get something like this: [Cube Name].[Time].[Month].[Month]->:[YK].[[Time]].[Month]].&[200911]]] in case the brackets get mangled by the forum, everything above up to the second occurrence of "Time" is enclosed in single brackets. Hello Cognos users, I have one table containing Hour and servername. Each hour have more than one server Like( 1, server1), (1,server2) (2,server2), (2,server3). I am preparing one crosstab report where Hour is at both coordinates. And I want to get count of common servers for that hour pair. For example for hour(1,1) common server are (server1, server2) so desired count = 2, for hour(1,2) common server is ( server2). So desired count = 1. I...

He had posted a while back that he was leaving. Then he came back for a bit, then he posted he was leaving again, and what he thought was for good. If the threads are kept that long, I'm sure you can search the forum for the post.
He was great. Extremely knowledgeable.

Have you tried using the universal ("jcc") driver instead? It's got both Type 2 and Type 4 drivers.
I have used it (with the Type 4 driver) to execute java apps on the mac that talk to DB2 (even before IBM released the 9.5.2 beta).

You absolutely should have the ability to edit the email body but I just tested it and it doesn't accept image tags. So I have no idea how to get an image in the body. Maybe someone else has an idea.

Is this a relational model or a dimensional model?
The approach for a relational model will be to use the percentage function.
percentage( Measure )
A dimensional model can make use of a tuple function to divide the current measure value by the tuple referencing the value for the total of the set of tasks.
Measure /tuple( Measure , Column Total )

OK, I didn't realize you were using the Integrated Query Editor for SQL scripts. When I copied the statement into a SQL Script, I am able to reproduce your error. However, I found a sequence of actions that fixed the problems.
1) create a new script
2) right-click on opened IQE editor >Set Statement Terminator
3) Replace the default statement terminator ";" with "@". Click OK

Hi,
Basically if "LocalService" is a userid, you can try something like this:
"Server=127.0.0.1:50000;Database=Mydb;UID=LocalSe rvice;PWD=XXXXXXX;"
Please, substitute the XXXXXXX for the LocalService password.

Input Scale default was 0. We tried various scenarios with input and output scale but non of them worked. Instead the 1.78 in the datasource would be displayed 1.00 or 1000 or 0.1000

When do you get this exception? Server startup?
Please check the SystemOut.log and javamashuphub.log for additional information about what is happening related to this failure.

Hi TurkeyTodd,
Yes, it's exactly what I want. I created this PowerCube form a report (in Report Studio). This monthly report is generated from a DMR model with very low level of granularity (e.g., sales transactions of each customer every day). The Forecast is a calculated measure based on history data. After refreshing the cube at the month-end, users use this cube to re-calculate...
