Record Earring Holders

If you have access to a drill, it works real good and you don't have to worry about the fumes. I like the lace on there. It adds a girly look to it. And unless you are emotionally attached to the red label, you could cover it with something really cool. I did one once and put a CD over the hole with the shiny side out. It was sparkly.

Quote from: llisaredd on November 20, 2009 07:37:36 AM I just stumbled upon this and LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea! In particular I like these ideas: Everyone makes a pattern of some sort for whatever type craft they choose. (Perhaps having a theme for the swap would be a good idea - I dunno.) Everyone in the swap gets a copy of every pattern. We have time to make one item from the patterns we've received for the gallery. LOVE LOVE LOVE...

I have completed item 1 today Got stuck on a SUPER LONG troubleshooting call that lasted almost an hour from start to finish, so that was my being able to time it out at an hour! LOL! Still have half a day left...may try to figure out item 2 and see about starting it...having trouble figuring out some colors and a style to do it in...

Christ-Centered Christmas Swap...
Published (2009-11-20 21:07:00)
Ooh, MsMia, you can totally wait and send it all at once, if you want! Also, anyone know how much sewing machine repairs run? I sat down to work on my niece's Christmas present and it's all ... not working. So to the repair shop I go tomorrow. Okay, now it's working. Thank goodness!

Book Club and Swap Gallery
Published (2009-11-20 21:31:00)
I received from craftADDchick! Check out this awesomeness!!! First, I opened this- a clutch made with the book cover! It, quite simply, ROCKS! Inside were 2 matching containers: a fabric covered tin and a fabric pouch. What could be in them? The pouch holds post-it notes (going in my purse!) and the tin has magnets with sayings from the book to complete the sentence "Today I feel like..." (those are going in my craft room!)...

thats such a cool idea! one of our family friends just had a baby, and the mommy would get such a kick out of this. as to attaching the toys, i have no idea. i think the floral stakes and ribbon would work nicely, as i suppose using glue wouldn't be good for the diapers XD

I'm going through all the swappers and starting to match up right now! Some of you may end up not being round-robin partnered, and may end up sending/receiving with the same person like regular swapping...we will see! Signups will be closing at 2pm EST today and I will HOPEFULLY have partners out by tonight

That's very cute! I have a couple dozen lightbulbs primed and ready for painting myself (though not for a swap). I love to do the lightbulb ornaments. People always seem so surprised. We also have a limited time for these things since they won't make the bulbs after 2012. (Yes, I know it's good for the planet. I'm just sad I have to find a new medium. )

Almost forgot, I read over the rules and such a few times, but I just wanted to make sure... We don't need a DC for this swap do we?? I mean...
