I used to go out to LA every year and work at a shelter serving dinner and helping kids pick out toys on Christmas...since I was @ 13 years old, now I do stuff in my community at shelters for women etc. where people come when they really WANT help. There are so many resources now-a-days for homeless people I don't know why they would not take advantage of them unless they were choosing not to. there are shelters all across the country...

Manual or Auto? I would have thought a MT would still be going strong at 120K...maybe a new clutch soon? The ATs in these cars don't seem as robust, based on the info in the wiki and general observations.
Great idea taking to a mechanic. Struts and control arms are consumables on this car.
Did you try www.edmunds.com on the price?

Wow, that sucks...getting stuck on Central Expressway in the morning sounds like a freakin' nightmare. Driving on it is worse enough...being a stationary target...yikes.
I am glad no accident was caused and I hope they give you an M3 as a loaner to make it up to you...

While I have not been following your issue in particular I have been to your website. I am guessing your vehicle falls into the very rare category of a car that just has a ton of issues and likely should be declared a lemon.

In Texas you can conceal carry in your vehicle without a permit. I keep my .40 under the seat a lot of the time. Plenty of space, quick access, etc.
