Part of the problem is our North American mindset ( bigger is better), coupled with the fact that there's not much in the way of interesting smaller bikes.
I'd like to see a mid-size (350-500cc) twin or 3 cyl., offered on a few different platforms, (naked, tourer, sport), to give the consumer some choice. Keep a low seat height and a weight under 370 lb., and it could be a winner.........or ...

Not getting the refund from canceling insurance is a bummer and not something I'd be happy for, but not getting paid for toys which were on the bike, but not included in the declared value makes sense to me...
