What ever happened to the stand alone VCRs? Not the combo DVD/VCRs. There were many out there in stores not more than a year ago. Now, they're all gone. Is there a stockpile somewhere that one can buy one or more of these? Anyone know? Did they get put into a landfill or put away into some warehouse? The First Lady and I started to evacuate but figured we were safer in our Fortress of Solitude than we were with those maniacs on I-55. So far its been no more than a strong summer storm and its almost over. Please post and let us know whats the haps. We hope everyone is safe.

I think it was a great choice. She has executive experience and stands very conservative on all issues. That is something McCain needs to shore up the conservative base who were pissed at his liberal leanings. It also will be tough for Dems to attack her experience when they are putting a candidate up that probably has the least experience of any president to run. Junior senator/...

The 'last' weekend of summer. I always get depressed over the summer's end. Now we can roll into the 'holiday' season...I can't wait...
