I believe that Jesus told us to obey His commands, which include the precepts He taught in the Beatitudes and in the Sermon on the Mount. They also include what we have come to know as the Two Great Commandments of the Lord. Paul and the Jerusalem Council further elucidated these by clarifying how they apply to non-Jewish Christians. Paul gave us many of the practical applications for the teachings of Jesus. Gnosticism basically teaches...

Rightard? ROTFLMAO! That's funny! My Democrat friends all agree that the Democratic party has been taken over by far left wack-jobs that they call leftards. So if you are offended by that then blame them! They have the sense to see how their party has been taken over by these truly, retarded, degenerate people. Only a leftists retard would claim that vegetables scream when they are about to be cooked or eaten. Besides, your little snipe...

It definitely is an ongoing journey...for all of us! I find that the more I know, the less I seem to know...does that make any sense? When it comes to "who to follow" I look to follow those who seem to be following Christ. After all, the primary command Jesus gave across his ministry down here was "follow me." And THAT is the journey and the challenge! BR

The WH has 26 trees this year and you pick this one? Well, I'm not for gay marriage or supporting transvestites -- but neither was I for bailing out the white collar crooks who helped cause this problem -- no, Barney Frank did not do this on his own -- he may have "allowed it" but the crooks went ahead and did what was totally unethical -- that being said, the President is the President of the whole United States -- and...

Wannabee We found a gorgeous 2 bedroom apt. in Lewisville that we fell in love with. It is 1/3 the size of our home but feels so spacious and homey. We put down the deposit and filled out the application but have to wait until they hear back from the credit check and criminal background check before we can officially sign a lease. If we sign a 15 mo. lease it drops the monthly rent almost a $100. So that is what we plan to do. We also plan to...

So, what you are saying is that ALL govt. "trust funds" are dependent upon the general tax revenues (wow, what a surprise!) Which
means, every "trust" fund that we have is bankrupt -- just as our federal govt. is bankrupt (and has been so for quite some time).
I don't know about the rest of you, but most of our Christmas conversation this weekend has consisted of the best way to prepare ...
