download the drivers for your printer and try installing using the correct driver.
When you say it is a wireless printer do you mean the printer actually has a wireless card and is connected to the router independently ...

Look on the right bottom do you see a volume symbol? Click that and a volume should pop up then slide up to where you want the volume.
Would help to say what model this Laptop is?

Turn the computer off. Unplug the power. Open the case and check all of the connections. Check the ribbon cables to the HD and also the power cable to the HD. Sounds like the HD is not connected. Also make sure you don't have a floppy disk in the drive or a CD in the CD drive. If you have a thumbdrive, iPod or any other USB storage device connected unplug it.

Could be a couple reasons,overheating or bad ram.
Take the side covers off and clean the tower out with a can of compressed air ,leave the covers off and see if it still freezes.
If it does,check that the memory bars are seated properly and aren't too hot.

You need to go to the Crucial website and run their scanner.
This will tell you (a) whether or not your machine can support that much memory and (b) which type of memory your machine needs.

Try booting into Safe Mode by tapping F8 as its booting up and then choose Last Known Good Configuration and see what you get.
