Fold the sweaters and store them flat in those containers that you have. Otherwise they will stretch over time on hangers. Since living here in Vancouver, I don't seem have had the opportunity to wear all my wonderful wool sweaters. Am relunctant to give some up. ie. one of them is from Iceland.

Running week of 11/29 - 12/6
Published (2009-12-01 05:58:00)
Trying to hit 30mpw through Christmas. I know the week after that is going to be pretty much a loss, as we are heading to Vegas for 4 days on the 27th (for our 13th anniversary). I want to reach the 1800 mile mark for '09. I just finished my lowest running mileage month of the year in Nov. (100.5). I blame my new bike! Yesterday I ran 7...felt really stiff and my calves were tight all last night. Very odd. I wonder if starting to use new...

I cracked and mashed in the side of mine in my recent adventure. I'll never even consider riding without one after that. Glad you're ok! Bruised and sore goes away. Traumatic Brain Injury does not. Deb

Mackerel Fish

My son loves fishing for mackerel. They are so beautiful, and they are extremely energetic so it can get quite exciting. And he happens to like the taste as well, so it's a win-win. Yup, here he is this summer, with one he just wandered off and caught on the second cast

I have a barely used Deore XT rear deraillure. cage is pretty long 87mm. Around late 1980's.
Had to think long and hard on how it came into my box of goodies. Came from RB-1 bridgestone bike that I purchased from a friend. She bought it but didn't ride so I bought it from her as a favor. I didn't care for 105's and the XT so I swapped out the components with shimano 600s. The bike mostly sits...

What is the width of your tires? Perhaps try slightly wider tires with a slightly rougher profile...which I always have had. I don't have super skinnies nor slicks. I never have and probably never will.
Presumably you have checked to make sure your wheels are trued. That can cause wobble. I discovered one of my wheels should be trued...soon.
As for being unclipped with 1 shoe, if you ...

well, of the butternut squash we had for Thanksgiving, some of it went into ravioli, some of it went into pie, the rest is going to be a savory soufflé tonight...
I would've baked a smaller squash but it was starting to dry out and needed to get used.

Why is it hypocritical?
The governing body of Tennis is not the same as the governing body for Hockey by any stretch. The only commonality seems to be that they are both considered sports and you can occassionally watch both on TV; hardly a striking similarity.
Different sports, different leagues, different rules, different expectations.

Holy Mackerel!
I believe I have had mackerel served to me, and although I don't remember the preparation, I remember the event as a fun occasion, so it can't have been horrible.

I'll jump on the bandwagon as well. Thanks!
Been biking to work everyday since '95. Only time that ever stop me was last year's deep snow and lack of snow removal at the side street. Heck! Even cars had a trouble of getting around.
So far my goal will be the same. Ride 5 times a week. If it snow, I hope to ride as well until the road is too dangerous. Then maybe snowshoe?

I have raced tri for 13 or so years. I race long course and Iron distance. I've done all my races on road bikes with aero bar attachments. Currently, I do 90% of my training on a road bike without aero bars and it's much better for me. So naturally, I think your idea to go to a road bike is a great one.
I would try to get a bike fit first. I do bike fitting and coach triathlon. In my ...

I hope they still have the packet pickup on Saturday for the bike rides. If
they move it to Friday I'll have to take an extra day off from work and
spend 3 nights in the hotel instead of 2.

There's no doubt that Giant makes quality bikes. If you happen to have the opportunity, I would also check out the KHS Alite 1000. In terms of specs, they are very similar bikes. Same forks, drivetrain etc... Both companies make frames for others, and have great quality. I know that right now, KHS has the Alite 1000 on closeout, so I'm sure you can get a pretty good deal. Maybe you can give them ...

Wow. I have an 8yo and an 11yo. It never occurred to me to put them on
clipless pedals. They're troupers, but falling off hurts, even when you
start off close to the ground. If faced with a choice between falling that
much and not cycling, I would guess they would chose not to cycle.
